In celebration of the 2026 National Womenโ€™s Month, the Gender and Development (GAD) Office of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) spearheads the vibrant and empowering contest titled โ€œColor Your Building,โ€ bringing creativity and advocacy to life across the University. Various offices actively participate by transforming their workspaces into visually compelling expressions inspired by this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œLead, like the Babaylans, Filipinas.โ€ Through dynamic colors, cultural symbols, and meaningful installations, participants pay tribute to the strength, wisdom, and leadership of Filipino women, echoing the spirit of the babaylan as a symbol of resilience and influence in society.

The activity fosters not only artistic excellence but also a deeper appreciation of gender equality and women empowerment within the TAU community. As each office proudly showcases its interpretation, the initiative strengthens solidarity and highlights the vital role of women in leadership and nation-building. Through this engaging celebration, the GAD Office continues to champion inclusive spaces and inspire every Juan and Juana to embody empowered leadership in their respective fields.
