After a productive secondment as the interim President of Colegio de Masinloc (CdM), Dr. Feliciano M. Rosete Jr. has returned to his home institution, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU). His leadership in Zambales guided the newly established local college through its critical formative years, where he focused on strengthening administrative systems, streamlining operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

During his tenure, Dr. Rosete laid the groundwork for the sustainable implementation of CdM's flagship Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness program. Through curriculum alignment, improved monitoring systems, and faculty coordination, he helped ensure instructional continuity and institutional stability despite the challenges of limited resources and facilities.

Now back at TAU, Dr. Rosete rejoins the College of Business and Management (CBM) with a wealth of experience in institutional development and governance. His legacy at CdM embodies his commitment to public service and educational leadership, foundations that will undoubtedly continue to benefit his home University in the years ahead.

As part of their course in FMPR02: Monetary Policy and Central Banking, the students undergo a seminar on inflation, monetary policy, and transmission channels, and visit the BSP Library to gain a firsthand understanding of how monetary policy promotes price stability and impacts the Philippine economy.

The academic immersion is spearheaded by Ms. Auribeth B. Lapitan, course instructor, in collaboration with BSBA Program Chair, Mr. Raffy A. Santos, and Dr. Erlie SD. Totaan, CBM Dean.

The BSBA students learn how theories are applied in a real-world setting in the nation's premier financial institution.

Delegates from the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) - Abucay Campus and the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO) - Development Management Office II (DMO-II) visit Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) on 4 March for a benchmarking activity focused on the Engineered Bamboo (E-Bamboo) production process.

Reinforcing inter-institutional collaboration toward sustainable enterprise development, BPSU Abucay Campus Director Mr. Walter G. Valdez and PCEDO DMO II Ms. Katrina M. Reclosado meet with TAU officials represented by Dr. Edmar N. Franquera, Vice President for Research, Extension and Training (VP-RET), during the courtesy visit at the Office of the University President (OUP) followed by a tour at the E-Bamboo Production Facility, where the participants engage with Mr. Julius U. Basilio, Project In-Charge.

Employees and staff from the E-bamboo Production Facility walk the delegates through the step-by-step procedures in bamboo processing. The discussion begins with the selection and processing of raw bamboo materials, followed by cutting, treatment, drying, shaping, and polishing, culminating in the transformation into high-quality, market-ready products. Emphasis is given to quality control, machine operation, and sustainability practices embedded in the production cycle.

Through this engagement, both institutions strengthen their shared vision of promoting eco-friendly technologies and empowering communities through bamboo-based enterprises.
